Healings and helps are what our Parish Nursing Ministry specialize in.  Through advice, care, support and education, our congregation is much better off for having this ministry available. You may want to participate, too!  Welcome!

One of the ministries offered at Utica UMC is administered by our Parish Nurse, Joyce Fox. Some of the services by which we are blessed include:

  • Blood Pressure Screening between Sunday Services (3rd Sunday of each month)
  • Articles in our monthly newsletter on ways to improve or maintain our health
  • Literature providing grief support
  • Collection and proper disposal of outdated or unused medicines
  • Recycling of medical equipment
  • Flu Shots
  • Regularly scheduled Red Cross Blood Drives at Utica UMC.

 For our Seniors: Join us for "Commit to be Fit" exercise class.  There will be 2 classes per week: Monday and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00am in Fellowship Hall.  There are chair exercises and light weight exercises.  Nothing too strenuous but will give you a good workout.
