The children are our future. The children are our future.

The Children's Ministries at Utica UMC provide many opportunities for children to learn and interact and grow in their faith.  There are just as many opportunities for interested parents to become involved and help those processes along.  Mrs. Peggy Miller is our Director of Christian Education and would love an opportunity to talk to you about our children's programming.

K.I.D.S. Club - Kids in Dedicated Service - Wednesday Evenings K.I.D.S. Club - Kids in Dedicated Service - Wednesday Evenings

The acronym used for our children's Wednesday evening program describes who it's for--kids! The 'service' part is what it's all about.  The children are given opportunities to share, learn, pray, play and make music together, but even moreso, consideration and care for others is stressed. The "Dedicated Service" part is when the children participate in community service projects such as the annual Walk for Warmth, making gift bags for the church's shut-ins or making projects for MCREST guests.

The program is normally held in 6-week blocks and runs approximately with the school year.  The best part is that while the children are in K.I.D.S. Club, there is child care for the very youngest, youth group for the teens and the parents can choose one of our adult Bible studies which meet at the same time.  Our Wednesday evenings at Utica UMC are definitely whole-family events which begin with a Simple Supper for only $2.50 per person. Plan to join us for any or all of our Wednesday events!

K.I.D.S. Club will start again on Wednesday, Janunary 11, 2012!
